Sustained Investigation
How can I celebrate my relationship with people through photography? As someone who really values each of my relationships, I decided to investigate how to show off the people that helped me get through highschool. I first started by recognizing the people that mean the most to me. I began capturing photos and really wanted to focus on how to portray their amazing personalities through the photos. Upon shooting each person, I looked deeper into our relationship and their personality to get the best pose, color, and angle to show the true them.
My investigation began with the first person that popped into my head, my advisor. He is the person I look up to the most and I really wanted to show him in my photographs. After experimenting with a bunch of single person photos, I got feedback and revised my images by shooting my friend group. After shooting my best friends, I realized my portfolio was complete because I had successfully captured and created a collection of the people that meant the most to me.
